Seeing Red...

Another Friday, another challenge over at Dilly Beans.  This week we are seeing red...
It's one of my favorite colors, but I find it hard to work with because it doesn't photograph well (at least for me).  Anyway, second to my love of apples are strawberries!  I instantly fell in love with this little fairy by Crystalline Coley; go check out her deviant art gallery.  I'm starting to experiment with Prismacolor markers --the colors are amazing!

I used foam dots to give her dimension...her little legs are popping out of the card and so are the three little strawberries.  Can't really tell from the photo.

  1. Mary, this is just precious - she kinda reminds me of Strawberry Shortcake! I know what you mean about the color red and photographing - when I try to use "auto enhance" in my software on any red cards, the color gets almost too "fake" looking. So I rarely use it, but then it's sometimes too dark. Can't win! LOL
Great job!!!! Thanks for joining us at Dilly Beans!

  2. I thought the same thing about Strawberry Shortcake. Berry, berry cute! Thanks for joining us at Dilly Beans again this week. xxD

  3. Oh this takes me back to when my kids were little. Having two little girls we had everything Strawberry Shortcake. What a fun card. Thanks for playing along this week at Dilly Beans. I always love seeing what you have to share with us.

  4. Cute!! Thanks for joining us at Dilly Beans this week!!

    Crafty Hugs!

I always want to hear what you have to say. It'll help me grow as an artist and challenge my creativity. Go ahead, show me some blog love and comment away!
